Adventist Philanthropy Leadership Awards
The North American Division, Seventh-day Adventist Church, and Philanthropic Service for Institutions (PSI) sponsor an award to recognize outstanding achievement in volunteerism and service to Adventist institutions. The Adventist Philanthropy Leadership Awards honor and recognize individuals who give their time, resources, and talents to our institutions and ministries and hold them up as superlative examples of service and leadership within the Adventist Church. In professional philanthropy initiatives, such individuals form an integral partnership with the institution and set an example of giving and leadership for others to follow. PSI honors these individuals because they have the desire to partner with God and their fellow man in lifting up humanity. Each recipient embraces the qualities of leadership demonstrated through exceptional commitment of time to the growth and renewal of an institution, a greater sense of service to God and community, and boldness in inviting others to join in serving the mission of an institution. They have the insight and ability to find creative answers to challenges, are always guided by a shared sense of vision, leadership, and wisdom, and demonstrate the roles of servant and leader at the same time.
